the location was okay, close to the river.
the ac never worked properly, it was always hot. the elevators sounded scary, they shook too much. i regret not choose another place.

helpful doormen friendly greeting easy walk
the doormen were consistently helpful. i particularly remember lucas always offering a friendly greeting. the hotel's proximity to key attractions was certainly a benefit. i found the walk to downtown quite convenient and easy.
the air conditioning system was inadequate. despite adjustments, the room remained warmer than desired. this impacted my overall comfort, especially during the night.

hoyt's bar had a nice atmosphere. breakfast seemed easy here each morning. i also had dinner one evening and the food was good. the bar is located within the hotel near the lobby.

excellent location helpful service friendly staff missing robes unwanted clothing disappointing view
the location was definitely a plus. i easily walked to many destinations i wanted to visit (even with the summer heat!). the rooms were very clean and i found the bell hop service to be both helpful and friendly. i appreciated their assistance with my luggage.
i booked a 'king city view' room. i thought it would have a river view, but it did not. instead, i was placed in a top-floor room that had a rear view (a bit disappointing). there were no robes in the room. i also found someone else's clothing left in a drawer.
