the doormen were consistently helpful. i particularly remember lucas always offering a friendly greeting. the hotel's proximity to key attractions was certainly a benefit. i found the walk to downtown quite convenient and easy.
the air conditioning system was inadequate. despite adjustments, the room remained warmer than desired. this impacted my overall comfort, especially during the night.

the location was definitely a plus. i easily walked to many destinations i wanted to visit (even with the summer heat!). the rooms were very clean and i found the bell hop service to be both helpful and friendly. i appreciated their assistance with my luggage.
i booked a 'king city view' room. i thought it would have a river view, but it did not. instead, i was placed in a top-floor room that had a rear view (a bit disappointing). there were no robes in the room. i also found someone else's clothing left in a drawer.

the location was ideal. it was close to stores and restaurants. the staff, especially josh, oscar and lucas, were very helpful (i appreciated their warm greetings). i got an expedia vip upgrade.
the bathroom's motion-activated lights kept turning off when i was showering. the water took a while to heat up, so my showers started cold. only two pillows per bed were provided, and there were no extra pillows available in the closet.
